The Boogie Men

In a rare act of kiting restraint, we left our kites at home this afternoon. The winds were gusting up to 100km/h and it was hard enough just walking down to the water. We should have worn goggles - rain feels like ice when it pelts you in the face moving that fast!

It's November are you CRAZY!

This is such great weather for kiteboarding! Warm & windy. The start of November is one of the warmest on record and we are taking full advantage. I didn't think we would be kiting in November but we are and it's great, even the kite widows (a.k.a fan club) came out for a walk on the beach.

Shaun Here is a shot of Jeff (Pumpkin) with an OR 16m, coming in after a great ride and his highest kite air. Jess-man & Wendy were saviors for picking my ass up after getting blown downwind, I think I need to go to a warm climate this winter and work on my upwind ability!
